Selfridges New Women's Fashion
This Saturday it was the one year anniversary of my homeware and lifestyle brand. So to celebrate we headed into Manchester for a few birthday treats! We headed straight to Selfridges Exchange Square, which as you you may know has undergone a massive transformation lately. What a transformation it is! It's much more like shopping in London's Oxford Street store, but not as big, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Oxford Street is so big there can almost be too much choice, you can't possibly get round every single part of the store. The beauty now with Exchange Square is the improved brands they are stocking and the London layout, with beautiful boutiques There are new Céline, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Valentino and Jimmy Choo boutiques. These give the luxury buying experience you have come to expect from London shopping. My particular favourites are the Céline and Valentino boutiques which bring these beautiful luxury brands to the North.
As well as the boutiques the floor now has a much greater selection of brands that are perfect for both everyday wear and evening style. It's great to see Brunello Cucinelli arriving in Manchester, along with Max Mara and Theory. Trendy brands like Rag and Bone, Isabel Marant Etoile and See by Chloe also make an appearance. The shoe department is also now the largest outside of London, giving shoe-aholics chance to get their fix!
And Christmas has come early to Selfridges as their rather lovely decorations were already up. Time to start thinking about all that Christmas shopping!
And after all that shopping we finished our celebrations off with champagne and macarons at the San Carlo Gran Café on the lower ground beauty hall. Of course we stopped by the new massive Charlotte Tilbury counter and Aesop on our way round the floor!
