Returns Policy:

We hope that you will be happy with the items you purchase from Hampton Living, but if you are not you should feel comfortable knowing that we have a returns and exchange policy.

Our returns policy is simple, we are happy to refund your item within 14 days of receipt.  To use this policy you must contact customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk within 14 days of receipt of the item.  Alternatively you can call us on 07515397956.  

In your email please include: 

  • Your order number (which you will find on the paperwork emailed to you at time of purchase)
  • Your name  
  • The item you wish to return
  • Optional, the reason for return.

Returns must be in perfect condition, unused, undamaged and in their original packaging in order for us to accept them.

If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund. 

Please note we are not responsible for return postage, as such we ask that you ensure you post the item securely, as we are not responsible for it until we have received it.  We recommend that you use an insured, registered delivery service and keep the proof of postage as we cannot be responsible for items that fail to reach us.

Please note that larger items will need to be collected by our courier, the cost for this will be the customers responsibility, the price will vary depending on the size of the item.  Contact us at customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk if you need to return a larger item, such as furniture, and we will instruct you how to proceed.

Certain goods are exempt from being returned.  Such as goods that have been specially ordered in, or made for you, or personalisedGift certificates are also always non refundable.

Our returns policy does not affect your legal and statutory consumer rights.

 

How to Return: 

Please first send us an email, stating your order number, your name, the item you wish to return and the reason, to customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk to receive your returns form.  Please print this form and enclose it with your package.  Please note that the refund will be for the full value of the item purchased minus any delivery or collection charges.  

Mirrors and furniture and larger items will need to be collected from you via our courier. When you email us we will organise collection for you and inform you of when the item will be collected.

Please ensure you retain a proof of postage receipt as you are responsible for your parcel until it has been received by us. Goods that are not received (i.e. lost in the post) shall be treated as unreturned and therefore cannot be processed.  For larger priced items please consider using a tracked service for your own protection.  Returns must be received in their original packaging, undamaged and unused.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have accepted your returned item. Once accepted your refund will be processed immediately.  The credit will be applied to your original method of payment, but please note that unless an item is faulty, arrived damaged, or an incorrect item was sent to you by mistake, returning items by post, or courier is at your own cost and the original delivery costs will be deducted from the refunded amount.  

Depending on your bank your credit should appear within ten days.  Please note that we cannot be responsible for interest charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card.

 

Exchange:

If you would like to exchange an item for another of the same price please contact us at customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk.  If you wish to exchange for an item of a different price you will need to follow the returns process above and then purchase the new item.

 

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items:

In the case of a damaged or faulty item on arrival please contact us at customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk immediately and within 48 hours of receipt.  Please include a photo of the damage with your email.  We will then arrange to get a replacement to you as soon as possible.

FURNITURE & LARGER ITEMS: All our furniture is quality checked right before it leaves us. It is your responsibility to check the item upon receiving it.  You will need to sign for your item, please check for damage before you sign.  Signing for the item confirms that you are happy the item has been received in the condition you expected.  Contact us immediately by email at customercare@hamptonliving.co.uk or on 07515397956 if an item arrives damaged and DO NOT SIGN FOR THE ITEM. We always check items thoroughly before they leave us and ensure they are well packed and so we hope this is a rare occurrence.  If the item has been damaged on route to you, please let us know immediately so that we can contact the couriers. 

Faulty: We apologise that you have received a faulty item from us. We only use reputable and quality suppliers and in the rare event of an item being faulty we are happy to replace it for you as soon as possible at no extra cost to you. Please contact us by email as soon as possible and within 48hours at customerservice@hamptonliving.co.uk or on 07515397956 and follow the guidelines for returning damaged items above.

Incorrect Item: We apologise that you have received an incorrect item from us, please contact us by email at customercare@hamptonliving.co.uk or on 07515397956.  We hope that this never happens to you, but if it does we will do our best to put things right and will arrange to have the item collected and the right item sent out to you as soon as possible at our expense.

Please ensure that you return the damaged or faulty goods unused and in the original packaging as you received them and our courier will collect, or you can return to us at the address above.

Once we have received and inspected the goods, a replacement will be arranged at our expense.  If it is not possible for us to replace the item you will receive a refund including delivery charges.

Return postage is at your own expense unless the item is damaged on arrival or faulty and reported within 48 hours of receipt.

 

Sale items:

All sale items are final purchase.  Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Gift Certificates:

Please note gift certificates are not refundable.

 

Christmas:

To help you with your christmas shopping items purchased from the 1st November until the 23rd December will enjoy an extended returns policy.  This policy entitles you to receive a Hampton Living gift certificate for the value of the item(s) returned, not including delivery charges.  Items purchased during this time may be returned until the 9th January.  The gift certificate is valid for one year and can be used to purchase any item from www.hamptonliving.co.uk. If you wish to use this extended policy please email us at customerservices@hamptonliving.co.uk to receive a returns form and your gift certificate.
Please note that our standard terms and conditions apply to all Christmas returns.
Please note that all Christmas themed items such as baubles and decorations are non refundable.
